‘Possibilities’ the shop

‘Possibilities’ the shop, Nelsons now-age book & gift specialists, has  been serving the peoples of Nelson and Tasman for 25+ years…

To help celebrate Nelson`s 150 anniversary in 1992, Avery ran the first Festival of Possibilities @ Fairfield House … From this event it became obvious that a shop specializing in alternatives was needed in Nelson; and so ‘Possibilities the shop’ came into being on October 1992…. The vision was to set up a friendly environment where people could search out hard to find books with advice from knowledgeable staff, and also purchase gift lines that weren`t available elsewhere….

Twenty five years on and “Possibilities the shop” continues to stock new-age books ( ie astrology, buddhism, healing, yoga, relationships, journals, self empowerment, tarot cards and much much more).. We also sell ‘magical gifts to delight the child within us all'(incense, salt lamps, dragon & fairy figurines,crystals, jewellery,  window decals, buddhas, smudge sticks, dreamcatchers, greeting cards etc)… We take pride in assisting people to find their perfect gifts….

After 25 years Avery is getting ready to retire, and is looking for someone to continue the “Possibilities” tradition in Nelson….
