Senior Beauty Therapist Fulltime wanted at The Wax Bar – Nelson

We are searching for a beauty all-rounder super star to provide our clients with expert waxing services, precision brow shaping and tinting, lash lifting, spray tanning, main’s/pedi’s, massage and facials.
Our fast-paced salon is in the heart of the CBD of Nelson. We are looking for an experienced senior therapist to work a minimum of 30 hours.

Job tasks and responsibilities;

You will be responsible for providing our clients with speedy and effective waxing services of the body and face using both strip and hot wax with a strong focus on hygiene and infection control.
An eye and passion for brow shaping and tinting is a MUST!
You must be reliable, flexible and work well while unsupervised and as part of a team.

Skills and experience

Ideally the candidate would have two years of industry experience. It could also suit a recent graduate of Diploma of Beauty Therapy if they are willing to learn our way and undergo our training. Must have training in Brazilian waxing. You may be required to give a demonstration of your work during the interview process.

Point of sale and retail experience is also preferred, as is being fluent in English, a confidant phone manner, impeccable grooming and hygiene, as well as working well within a team environment.

The pay will be reviewed after 3x months of reliable service.
