Tunche is now 9 months old and ready to take up responsibility with his new baby siblings. It is incredibly important for a pygmy marmoset to gain experience in raising their siblings. Pygmy marmosets learn by doing, so hands on experience is essential in raising their own offspring in the future. Natureland is part of the Australasian pygmy marmoset breeding programme, so Tunche’s lessons now will be paramount to the next generation of pygmy marmosets in Australasia.
