A Special Birthday Gift for Mum: Jewel Beetle
This pendant was commissioned as a special birthday gift for mum. I melted down some of the gold jewellery for the frame and traded in the rest of the unwanted gold for new materials to make the settings. The amethyst matching gems from some earrings were repurposed for these tulip style flowers and diamonds from an old ring were set into the leaves for added sparkle. A perfect gift for a mum who loves flowers 
Often we can adapt some of our patterns or rings that we have in stock. Our “Riveria” design was perfect for this purpose. Here we used a ruby and a diamond that were surplus stones from a remodeled piece we made for a client. Now her daughter has a new ring too
