Cats and Dog – “I just love them” said Helen Belton of Richmond, Nelson.
Helen grew up in Hope near Richmond, she was surrounded by animals by a young age, her Dad used Draft horses in his market gardening business and bred Collie Dogs. Her Mum bred Cocker Spaniels, they always had cats, Helen said animals are “in her blood”.
Helen approached Belinda at Workbridge in Nelson around 14 months ago asking for help to find her perfect job. It did not take long for Helen to secure her dream of working with Cats and Dogs at Spring Grove Kennels & Cattery.
Helen thinks Charlotte Botha who is her employer has a very inclusive outlook when it comes to her staff and her fury clients.
One of the best parts of Helen’s job is when the dogs recognize her when they arrive for their holidays or day care. Helen believes she has struck gold!
