Port Nelson Heritage Day: Looking back at the Port’s Proud Legacy

Port Nelson welcomes you to the Port’s Coastal Berth (entry by STYX restaurant) for a look back at our Proud Legacy.
Take a look around the Port’s Pop-Up Museum showcasing historical items, video footage of Port operations from 1949, and displays showcasing exports from the Port’s fascinating history.
There will also be a Port sausage sizzle, kids activities, and Tug Boat demonstrations.
You can also take a trip with The Ferry over to the Lighthouse – gain further insight into the history of ‘The Cut’, the boulder bank, and the lighthouse. Special Ticket Prices available by emailing info@theferry.co.nz (The Ferry will run 1 trip an hour).
