Last night we launched the Maramatanga moon project for Te Ramaroa light festival. Over 100 people have been involved in some form with the kaupapa. It was a joy to finally piece it all together with huge support from dear friends and colleagues at the Refinery ArtSpace

Nelson Voice Collective popped up at 5 pm @ The Refinery ArtSpace to sing with the giant Luna as part of Te Ramaroa. No-one had sang together before and I had never heard the song a few weeks ago. But the people came and the people sang and we were led by our Spanish speaking community, gorgeous musicians and host community with beautiful harmonies. ??? Video credit to Sofie Serrano
