WE will fly you and a friend from anywhere in NZ to Nelson. Arrive and be welcomed by Nelson Airport’s friendly staff, after which you’ll pick up your rental car from NZ Rent a Car. Next, you’re off to unpack at the luxurious 4-star Rutherford Hotel, located in the heart of Nelson City where you’ll spend your first night.
Begin the following day with the flight of a lifetime with Helicopters Nelson across the breath-taking Abel Tasman National Park to the remote and spectacular world famous Awaroa Lodge, where you’ll spend your second night. Surrounded by pristine waterways and native forest, you’re spoilt with choice between enjoying short walks in the bush, kayaking, or just relaxing on the beach.
The next day you’ll be picked up by Abel Tasman Sea Shuttles for a scenic coastal cruise down to the magnificent Kaiteriteri beach, famous for its golden sand and turquoise water, to begin your Wine, Art and Wilderness tour. Here you will lunch and sample some of Nelson’s finest wines.
Arriving back in Nelson City that afternoon will allow you time to visit the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary for a guided tour to discover for yourself what makes this sanctuary unique. Enjoy shopping at some of the best boutiques Nelson City has to offer at Morrison Square and enjoy a night out in town at your choice of one of our fabulous hospitality joints after which you’ll spend the night back at Rutherford Hotel again.
Last but certainly not least, be part of the action at Cable Bay Adventure Park for a Skywire experience on one of the world’s longest Flying Fox’s – set right here in Nelson. This amazing scenic ride with a shot of adrenaline flying high above the forest canopy is just the way to end off this fantastic holiday before heading back home.

Terms and conditions
1/ Prizes have no monetary value and must be taken by the prize winner. Prizes must be redeemed within six months of the draw.
2/ The prize has to be taken by the prize winner and is non-transferable.

6/ A supervised draw of the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7/ The winner will be notified by email, phone (voice or text), mail or in person and must be available for the preparation of all publicity that may be required by Uniquely Nelson. Where attempts to contact the winner fail (eg when the Winner cannot be contacted by phone after three attempts or mail sent is returned) the Judge will select another winner. If, after successful notification, the prize is not collected within two months of being announced it will be regarded as forfeit.
8/ The winner takes the Prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies Uniquely Nelson and Nelson Airport in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the prize. The winner is responsible for all insurance, tax or other costs that may be associated with the Prize. Where the Prize has associated terms and conditions the winner accepts the Prize subject to those terms and conditions and restrictions.
9/ The winner and their travelling companion must travel together at all times from the place of departure and return together to the place of departure.
10/ The winner must have a current driver’s licence and must be over the age of 18 years and responsible for any travel insurance and taxes.
11/ By entering this competition you will be subscribed to both Uniquely Nelson’s and Nelson Airports mailing list and you can unsubscribe from these lists at any time.
12/ The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
13/ The competition is open to New Zealand residents only.
14/ The competition will be drawn at 12 noon on Friday 22nd October 2021 and winner will be notified.
