Nelson Airport is the busiest regional airport in NZ and our new award-winning terminal is the gateway for visitors to our region.
The role of Nelson Airport’s Customer Services Manager is to manage all touch points of the visitor experience in the terminal including the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the building and carpark. You will also play a key role in safety management, and in supporting the operations and commercial activities of Nelson Airport Ltd.

The role of Nelson Airport’s Customer Services Manager is to manage all touch points of the visitor experience in the terminal including the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the building and carpark. They will also play a key role in safety management, and in supporting the operations and commercial activities of Nelson Airport Ltd.
As the Customer Services Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of Customer Service Officers, develop and deliver the customer experience strategy and ensure that the Airport’s focus on being a safe and secure environment for all users is maintained. You will also be responsible for performing supervisory and maintenance tasks across landside operations, including the delivery of contracted services.
The ideal candidate will come from a customer services management background, will have experience in leading and developing teams, have strong stakeholder management skills and be proficient with budgeting. A background with maintenance of buildings, infrastructure or services would be beneficial.
