Join Wellington-based artist Bryce Galloway for a two-hour workshop of collaged absurdity toward a collaborative zine. What’s a zine? A quick ‘n’ dirty amateur magazine that you’ll be contributing to and get to take away with you just two hours and 15 minutes after first arriving. Materials provided, no skill required.
Bryce is part of The Suter’s absurdity group show Kiss Me, Hardy (but not like that), with a catalogue essay, video and the soundtrack to a Richard Reddaway sculpture. Bryce lecturers at Whiti o Rehua School of Art, Massey University, Wellington. He is the creator of New Zealand’s longest zine – Incredibly Hot Sex with Hideous People, instigator of Kirikiriroa Hamilton Zinefest and a member of the Wellington Zinefest board. Bryce also makes music, often with longtime collaborator EE monk under band name Wendyhouse.
