THORKILD HANSEN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
Our exhibition will have some general information about this inaugural scholarship offering a young person from the Top of the South a fully paid place on the 8-week Beginners Intensive Programme – one person each year for at least the next five years.
We are really pleased with the donations already received for this scholarship and have fundraised enough so far for the 2022 / 23 recipients. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to those kind and generous people who have made a donation.
Please do consider supporting us in one of these ways:-
• We are looking to fundraise a total of $45000 to be able to offer the scholarship from 2022 – 2027 at which point we will review the project. In just a few short weeks we have so far raised nearly $18000 just through initial conversations. If you are able to help in any way your donation would be very much appreciated.
• Alternatively, do you own, or know of a business that might be able to help get the word out, sponsor us or contribute in some other way to make this ongoing project a great success?
• If you know of any young person in our region who would be a potential candidate for this scholarship then please do everything you can to encourage them to apply.
This is something we can do to honour Thorkild and his family and offer a young person a wonderful opportunity in life and create a legacy.
