Save your own tomato seeds!
It’s time to start collecting and saving your seeds for future crops. A great one to start with is saving your tomato seeds, here’s how:
? Scoop out the tomato flesh and place in a small amount of water (such as a shot glass or similar size)
?Store at room temperature for a week or two to allow the seed to ferment (replicating the natural process of when a tomato falls to the ground and breaks down)
?Wash the seeds through a sieve to remove all flesh
?Leave the seeds to dry thoroughly on a paper towel/tissue
?Store in a cool dry space and correctly label.
