Did you know that The Suter Art Gallery Te Aratoi o Whakatū runs weekly after school art classes (The Suter Kids Club) for 6-13 year olds?
Children have fun learning about art using our exhibitions as a springboard, under the guidance of well-qualified and experienced teachers. They are encouraged to have fun with art materials and are guided to explore art techniques and self-expression working with a broad range of art media on a variety of projects.

Led by Mark Dunstan, ‘Art for Adults’ caters to beginners to those who might be more experienced but perhaps want encouragement, to try something new, such as new techniques, working in different media or trying to tackle a different subject matter. With a regularly changing exhibitions programme and a collection to draw on, there is never any shortage of inspiration at hand in the gallery.
