For us it will be business as usual: Chelsea Park Motor Lodge
Dear Chelsea Park Motor Lodge guests,
The Nelson City Council is undertaking a much-needed stormwater upgrade project which includes installation of underground pipes along Waimea and Rutherford Street. This infrastructure work is absolutely essential, as our beautiful city continues to grow while we seek climate change resilience and flood protection.
This project will be overseen by civil engineering company Fulton Hogan, who have indicated that work is expected to be completed by December 2022.
During this period, we anticipate an increased level of activity in the area of Chelsea Park Motor Lodge. This activity will be restricted to business hours to limit inconvenience for nearby residents and guests at Chelsea Park Motor Lodge or neighbouring accomodation providers.
All our unita are fully double-grazed and we’ll sound-proofed, modern and solidly constructed with brick and concrete. Our grounds are well-fenced, with a brick wall street frontage. Furthermore, mature trees surrounding the property help reduce any potential noise.
Therefore, we can confidently reassure you of your continued high level of comfort and peaceful enjoyment of our excellent facilities. As mentioned above, the hours of work will not impact our guests’ sleep. For us it will be business as usual.
Nonetheless, however unlikely, we want to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our guests while this project is underway. We look forward to meeting you.
