The NZ ICE CRAM & GELATO AWARDS is an annual celebration of the country’s best ice cream, gelato, sorbet, dairy free and low fat frozen products. It is a national competition and represents a unique opportunity to benchmark the best in this country.
Ice cream, gelato, sorbet, dairy free and low fat frozen products companies throughout New Zealand are encouraged to submit products for consideration with the assurance that judging is objective and transparent, conducted by independent panel of food experts.
Penguino Ice Cream Cafe (Nelson) is proud to share our winning results with you.
We have submitted three flavours this year all of which had won a medal:
