Discover the beauty of Niki Hastings-McFall’s ‘A Long White Cloud’: The Suter Art Gallery
Discover the beauty of Niki Hastings-McFall’s ‘A Long White Cloud’ in our latest collection exhibition, Night Life! The sculpture features nineteen glowing lampshades covered in lei flowers, paying tribute to the first Polynesian settlers who dubbed this country ‘the land of the long white cloud’. With a nod to 1950s interior fashion and playful use of clichés, Hastings-McFall also honours Polynesian immigrants who arrived centuries later.
