Te Mana Kuratahi Kki Te Tauihu o Te Waka a Māui

Ko tō mana, ko tōku mana, he mana kotahi. E ara ko Te Mana Kuratahi.
Te Mana Kuratahi is the biennial national primary schools kapa haka competitions, hosted this year by Te Tauihu o te Waka a Māui.
46 kapa haka representing 16 regions across Aotearoa will battle it out for top honours during the 4-day competition from the 30th of October to the 2nd of November.
Trafalgar Centre in Nelson will come alive with dynamic haka, mesmerising poi, and melodic waiata from the most elite primary school kapa haka.

Event Information
There are 3 sessions each day, please ensure you purchase the correct day and session for the performances you wish to see. If you wish to attend more than one session in a day you must purchase 1x ticket to each session, as the arena will be cleared at the conclusion of each session and the tickets will be scanned upon entry to each session.
– Morning session
– Midday session
– Afternoon session

*tickets for under 5’s are free if they are sitting on the knee of their caregiver (caregiver must have a valid ticket for the session)
