“My Fragility in Nature series was inspired by golden cape gooseberry skeletons.
An extra large Fragility in Nature bowl was delivered to the beautiful @craigpottongallery today … along with a few more yummy goodies.
Breathtakingly beautiful are my words to express how I feel about death, decay and weathering of the natural world.
Skeletons left behind, delicate but somehow there’s a strength and resilience to them.
Then there’s the shadows that these skeletons create … they play with the light.
My current work looks at all these mesmerising elements.
I’m not trying to replicate the form that was it’s inspiration more for me it’s about trying to capture the feeling in my work playing with the light and shadows.” – Rebekah Hall
