Keep you updated on our Archives, Research & Collection (ARC) facility project: Nelson Provincial Museum
Exciting news! Thanks to the generosity of CNX, our trusted IT provider and proud supporter, we’ve installed two new screens in our Trafalgar Street windows to keep you updated on our Archives, Research & Collection (ARC) facility project.
The ARC project will replace the dilapidated Isel Park Research Facility with a new facility in Church Street, behind the Museum. The new building will feature vital climate-controlled storage for the Nelson Tasman Regional Heritage Collection along with a public research space, viewing area and conservation lab.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to CNX for donating these screens, providing us with a sustainable way to showcase why we need this new facility, and keep you informed along the way.
Construction is set to begin in 2024, and Aaron Roberts (Client Services Manager from CNX) has already shown his support by tapping the “Donate Now” button through the window.
We invite you to visit our window display, where you can learn more about the project and help give our history a home.
