It’s a beautiful day in Whakatū to celebrate the importance of museums and galleries in our communities (if we do say so ourselves!)
Unfortunately, many arts and heritage institutions are struggling to keep the lights on. Costs are rising and funding sources are declining. If we want a future with museums and galleries we need to act now.
Museums Aotearoa are asking communities to show some aroha for your local museums and galleries.
Here are some ways you could show us some love.

❤Make a donation (through our website or koha stations at the Museum)
❤Shop for gifts in our Museum shop
❤Take the Museums Aotearoa Visitor Survey available at our front desk

❤Spread the word!
