The People’s Choice dish for the Seafood Saturday 2024 progressive lunch is (drumroll please):
The miso-cured Ōra King salmon with rhubarb, ponzu and yuzu created by talented Eight Plates chef Sarah Maunder. The dish was made with exquisite New Zealand King Salmon and matched with a delicious Rosie’s Block Moutere Albariño 2023 from Neudorf Vineyards. 🏆
In close second was the flavourful Sealord smoked orange roughy fish cake from chef Norbert Barczok at The Vic Public House, matched with Waimea Albariño 2023.
Congratulations to Sarah, Eight Plates and all the wonderful restaurants and wineries that made Seafood Saturday 2024 possible! 🙌
