The People’s Choice dish for the Seafood Saturday 2024 progressive lunch is (drumroll please):
The miso-cured Ōra King salmon with rhubarb, ponzu and yuzu created by talented Eight Plates chef Sarah Maunder. The dish was made with exquisite New Zealand King Salmon and matched with a delicious Rosie’s Block Moutere Albariño 2023 from Neudorf Vineyards. 🏆
In close second was the flavourful Sealord smoked orange roughy fish cake from chef Norbert Barczok at The Vic Public House, matched with Waimea Albariño 2023.
