Glowworm Experience – Tour Guides Wanted: The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary

𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗠 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 – 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗
The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary seeks experienced guides to lead our (evening) glowworm experience tours which run early June through to early September.
Approximately 1.5 hours in duration (including pre-tour briefing), the glowworm experience tours are normally for groups of 6-12 people walking The Loop track within the Sanctuary in the dark.
The Sanctuary glowworm tours have proven to be incredibly popular over the past three years, until now the Sanctuary has been reliant on volunteers to run these tours. The Sanctuary is now recruiting suitably experienced (paid) guides to lead these evening experiences of the Sanctuary; familiarity with the Sanctuary would be an advantage but is not essential.
The Sanctuary has developed a comprehensive script for tours, and a copy is available on request.
