What’s New at Wall to Wall Art Gallery?
Local artists Roz Speirs and Virginia Watson are exhibiting new work as ‘guests’ at Wall to Wall Art Gallery on Bridge Street. Any of the art works would make for a special mother’s day gift.
Roz Speirs – Fused Glass
Roz has chosen a selection of new fused glass Enchanted Forests, Horizons, and Koru (pictured) that complement her new series of ‘Little Landscapes’ which are also in the Gallery.
Virginia Watson – Knife Paintings
Virginia presents ‘Characters of the Inlet’, a collection of the leggy birds that grace Nelson’s Waimea Inlet, which she paints with a knife.
These shore bird paintings allude to the fragility of coastal habitats, but they’re fun and colourful and full of quirky birdy behaviours.
