Are you following Health & Safety best practice?: Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce

The full Aspire programme is close to being released, but you are all obviously as excited as we are, since we have already had a huge interest in the conference with almost half of the tickets sold. The Aspire Early Bird Sale ends in two weeks on the 31st May, so best to get in quick to secure tickets at a discounted rate for you and your team.

We have a Health & Safety Essentials course coming up for those of you who own a small business and want to ensure you comply with health and safety best practice requirements. It is intended for those businesses without a health and safety committee, or for anyone who is required to be involved in health and safety in their role. Not only will you come away with practical health and safety templates that you can use in your business, but it’s also being held at the stunning venue that is Harvest Kitchen in Appleby, so a great spot for those of you based in Tasman. Now imagine. You’re sitting at the dining table with your family or friends playing a – not competitive at all – game of Monopoly. You role the die, land on the CNX Chance Tile and pick up a Chance Card… “You have a spelling bee coming up and forgot to take your Sujon Blackcurrant Powder for brain function. Go back 3 spaces.” Darn. If only you had remembered! Local company Sujon will not only be reminding players to look after their brains, but are also sponsoring the Horticulture Industry spot on the board (rather than utilities, our local version features four key industries). Tasman region is well known for it’s delicious berries, so it’s great to have the Horticultural Industry represented by Sujon. If you want to know more about how your business can be part of the fun and be seen for years to come, go here or get in touch!
Next week is NZ Tech Week and our partners at the Mahitahi Colab have pulled together a week of events to showcase Nelson Tasman’s world of tech.
