Are you interested in a fun volunteer opportunity on Mondays?
Mate wareware HomeShare service brings a small group of people with dementia together in the Hope Community Church on Mondays from 10am to 3pm to share conversations, help with meals, and assist with activities decided on by the group.
The service enables people with dementia who may be lonely and/or isolated, to socialise within their own communities.
Our volunteer will support the Mate Wareware Homeshare Host by:
– Setting up the room before the older people arrive
– Supporting Homeshare host with the delivery of activities
– Assisting with morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea
