It’s National Volunteer Week! We are massive fans of our dedicated volunteers at Nelson Tasman Hospice, so much so that we serve them at our annual Volunteer Garden Party. It is an absolute pleasure to do this and staff from different disciplines come together to celebrate all the hard work that volunteers do for us. This year’s Garden Party had 140 attendees with 25 awards handed out for long standing service and one recipient being the first volunteer ever to have dedicated 35 years to Nelson Tasman Hospice. We are in awe 🥰
Thank you to all of our over 550 volunteers and all the time and effort they put into helping us extend our impact into the community, to the over 210 local families monthly who need our specialist palliative care 🩵
