Did you know that ⭐️Natureland Wildlife Trust⭐️ plays a crucial role in creating the world’s largest and most comprehensive knowledge base on over 22,000 species? As a proud member of the global nonprofit Species360, we contribute vital data on the animals in our care, from lifecycle traits to environmental needs.
This information is recorded in the Species360 Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS), now in its 50th year and the largest source of data on species worldwide. To date, Natureland has contributed data on more than 1,149 animals and 173 species, subspecies, and breeds to ZIMS. 🐾
ZIMS combines our data with contributions from like-minded conservation institutions worldwide, advancing our understanding of animal welfare, population health, and species conservation. 🌍✨
We are proud to be part of this international effort and its impact on animal welfare and wildlife conservation. By sharing our knowledge and expertise, we make strides in protecting the planet’s biodiversity.
