I am Louise the founder, designer and owner: Louise Douglas Jewellery

WOW- It’s so nice to have some new followers here recently. I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself again. I am Louise the founder, designer and owner of this small but mighty company.
I started making jewellery at the age of 18, selling to design stores New Zealand. I then went on to design collections in the United States for private label and runway at large fashion jewellery houses in New York City. My work has been sold to high-end department stores and exclusive boutiques throughout Japan, the US and NZ. I have been making jewellery in Nelson for 15 years now. I love the natural surroundings and friendly environment here in Nelson. I am married with one son, but also many special nephews and nieces in my life. My inspiration has always been in nature and my aim is to connect people to the beauty and intricacies of the natural world when they experience and wear my jewellery.
