A huge thank you for the generosity and consideration of our selectors, Josephine Cachemaille, Gill Starling and Thomas Baker.
Arts Council Nelson were thrilled with the quality of entries, despite this making their task all the more difficult. We extend you a warm invitation to the Gala Opening and presentation of the awards Friday 27th September at 5.30pm.
We welcome Heather Galbraith and Aaron Scythe as judges this year.
We are very grateful to our partner Forsyth Barr who’s generosity supports ceramic artists with a $10, 000 prize offered in this biennial award which inspires entrants to push the boundaries of what is expected from this medium. Arts Council Nelson strives to nurture, support and stimulate contemporary practice both in Whakatū and throughout Aotearoa.
