Reality of Time…

Greeting dear friends & fellow navigators, & welcome to my world this weekend. In my last article I opened with a question of who am I becoming & how as we progress through the aging process, has weighed on me for some time now. Something I have had the privilege of learning over my last 19~20 years is how I now choose to acknowledge any constraint I experience within my life as being of my own creation.

Reality is not a race to achieve or create something. There is no ticking clock, except those which we create to measure & judge our rate of evolution against. To feel under any time pressure is a form of giving away your power. To believe you are fighting against the clock is to live in fear you may not arrive ‘in time.’

There is no ‘in time’ to arrive in. You can arrive at any time or you can arrive from outside of time. You will arrive when you arrive, & when you arrive, it will be perfect. To arrive & then anxiously check the clock is to knock yourself out of the present moment into a state of self-judgment.

Interestingly, through awakening to your spirit, you can become a master of time & even create extra time when you need it. In any moment, feeling yourself to be against time will instantly take you into a reality where you are facing an opponent ~ against whom you will either win or lose. Let go of this concept of time, & you can only win.

You are free to enjoy the harm created by competitively racing but do so with the understanding, if it starts to cause you worry or pain, you can stop & take your time. Being open to change is no more about being open to large amounts of change than it is about being open to small amounts.

The dream in your heart is not about achieving some level of quantity. When following your heart, sometimes, a giant leap will bring you into the greatest appreciation of life, while at other times, just a small adjustment will unleash the greatest freedom.

You are not in competition with any other being, for we are all beings. Any concept of being in a race is an idea created by you to be against yourself. The feeling of failure arising from competition may be desirable in the moment. However, know this, if the rush of adrenaline ever turns to fear, you have the power to let it go. Appreciate the perfection of the present moment & know the next moment will be perfect whenever you arrive at it.

In summary today dear friends, I like to think & practice to transcend the boundaries of time, by allowing time.

Just few observations again dear friends, & provide an opinion in my world. Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate your being here. If my journey encourages you also, all is well with my soul. Looking forward to being back next week; this is Kenn Butler in Paradise, Nelson with best wishes.
