The Wrap Up | #NBSCommunity
We were proud to provide sponsorship to the following community groups and events throughout November. Thanks to our clients, we can invest to make a real difference in our communities.
🦈 That’s a wrap on this year’s season for the mighty Tasman Mako. How good was it having the Ranfurly Shield come home! NBS is proud to be major sponsor of the Tasman Rugby Union since 2014, including sponsorship of community rugby in the region as well as the Tasman Mako men’s and women’s senior teams. #FinzUp
🚁 We broke a record! This year’s NBS Helicopter Appeal raised $141,086.33 towards supporting the life-saving work of Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter. A huge thank you to our clients, our NBS teams and our communities for this result. Pictured, the winner of our Nelson branch’s wheelbarrow raffle, NBS client Scotty Fraser from Golden Bay.
🎟 NBS were proud to offer Pay What You Can ticketing during Nelson Arts Festival, for a third year. Our goal was to ensure everyone gets the chance to see a show, within their financial circumstances. One show offering PWYC ticketing was the finale performance by Tami Neilson 👏
🌳 A very special month for The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary, as they welcomed 56 Tuatara into the sanctuary, translocated from six different captive source sites ranging from Palmerston North to Franz Josef. They will enjoy a 3.7-hectare mouse-free home within the sanctuary.
🏐 The NBS Golden Bay Sports Award was an outstanding evening celebrating people of Mohua, Golden Bay. A huge congratulations to all finalists and award winners. Pictured, NBS Agribusiness Manager, Dean Lund, presents the Supreme Sports Award to Quinten Strange.
Thanks to our clients, we can support hundreds of not-for-profit groups with sponsorship and grants to supporting sports, arts, educational, environmental and charitable organisations. That’s #BankingForLife
