Urban Prototype talk – Elma Turner Library
Thursday 10 April
5:00 – 5:30pm
Elma Turner Library
Urban Prototype is a game-like tool that helps quickly test changes to buildings and infrastructure. It includes predictions for river flooding and coastal flooding, allowing users to create plans that can handle future impacts.
The development team of architects Rachel Dodd, Steph Phillips, Lyn Russell and artist Voki Smith invite those interested to come along on Thursday 10 April, 5-5.45pm for a brief conversational presentation of how the Urban Prototype work originated and what we intend create next and to answer any questions.
Find the Urban Prototype game based tool at the Elma Turner Library from March 27 until April 17 2025 – as part of the Whākatu Nelson City Council Draft Climate Change Strategy engagement. We encourage all to come along and contribute structurally to the conversation.
