We’re Hiring: Tasman Mako NPC Physio – Nelson!
Tasman Rugby Union is looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Tasman Mako NPC team for the 2025 season! This contract role (July–October) is a great opportunity to work in a high-performance rugby environment, with potential off-season opportunities for the right candidate.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide physiotherapy, treatment & injury management for Mako players
✅ Lead rehabilitation for long-term injuries & non-traveling players
✅ Manage medical supplies & maintain accurate injury records
✅ Work closely with the Team Doctor, Strength & Conditioning Coach, and NZR medical staff
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
🎓 Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Sports Physio post-grad desirable)
🏉 Experience with high-performance teams, ideally in rugby
💬 Strong communication & ability to work independently
📍 Location: Nelson
