We’re celebrating the opening of three exhibitions in our gallery spaces from May 12th – June 14th.
Displaced is a joint exhibition between Kara Burrowes and Judith Lawson, exploring the concept of hiraeth; the feeling of a deep longing. Through unorthodox and unconventional material combinations, the artists breathe a second life into objects, images and ideas.
Lane Hawkins presents Trapped, a new exhibition of work exploring environmental futures, global change, people and culture through contemporary woven structures.
Walking the Path by Abhi Chinniah documents the stories of migrant, immigrant and refugee communities across Aotearoa through vibrant photography. A Migrant’s Path was acquired by the National Library of New Zealand, and has toured across the country.
