Tāhunanui Beach Clean-Up
Each September, as part of Clean Up Week, Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park brings together local businesses, schools, and the wider community to help care for our beautiful coastline. We’re excited to host our annual Beach Clean-Up again and warmly invite you to be part of it!

When: Saturday, 20 September 2025
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Meet us at Main Tāhunanui Beach (behind the Beach Café) – look for our gazebo!
Together, we’ll clean up Tāhunanui Beach, the inlet, the Back Beach, and the surrounding areas. We’ll supply gloves, litter pickers, and good vibes! After the clean-up, enjoy a thank-you BBQ and be in to win spot prizes as a token of our appreciation.
How you can get involved:
• Join us on the day – bring friends, whānau, students or colleagues. The more hands, the better!
• Share the word – help us spread the invite by forwarding this email or sharing our poster (attached) and Facebook event across your school, workplace or community newsletters and social media.
• Support with a donation – local businesses are invited to contribute spot prizes or sausages ( and a BBQ trailer) for the BBQ. If you can help, we’d love to hear from you!
