New work by Craig Potton
Morning Mist, Rai Valley
On a still winter’s morning form dissolves into nothingness; only the cross of the telephone pole remains barely visible. There’s a sense it is only just getting a rather feeble message across an empty atmosphere, yet it is so beautiful. Nagarjuna played with this paradox in saying ‘Emptiness is form.’
Taken on Nikon 800, 50mm lens, 200 ASA, aperture F.11
325 x 260mm, 365 x 300mm framed with UV glass
We were thrilled to welcome Kemi Niko & Co to the gallery last weekend for a Meet & Greet. It was great to finally meet the makers of the Mini Huts we love and extra special to receive a selection of new huts for our gallery visitors … Bob’s Hut, Kotepato Hut, Thomas River Hut and Top Butler Hut are still available (Cecil Kings Hut sold out fast!)
