Four years and some ago we bought the Chelsea Park lease.
The first year was COVID, the second year was the huge upgrade to the Nelson Storm water Project right up Rutherford Street, year three was the floods here in Tasman, this year we struggled as did all accommodation providers in Whakatū/Nelson over the winter period. The faith is that this city catches fire in the summertime!
Tomoko, Mia and I are grateful to have met such wonderful, friendly, and amazing folks from all over the world and gods zone! We love that we’ve been able to show folks what manaakitanga and our brand of hospitality really is.
We’ve been fortunate enough to win Trip Advisors Best of the Best four years in a row, with two of those being in the top 1% of accommodation providers in NZL. Tomoko won bedmaker of the Year award, and we’ve raised the Booking.com and Expedia reviews from 8.7 and 8.6 to 9.3 and 9.6 out of 10. This is all due to you our wonderful guests that stayed with us and reviewed us.
You definitely have our gratitude!!
Unfortunately time has come to move on and we leave Chelsea Park Motor Lodge at the end of the month. Last day is the 30th September.
The new owner is a great person who feels its time to come home and take over where we’ve left off. We hope you continue to support this fabulous Motel and experience all it has to offer.
Tomoko and I thank you from the bottom of our heart and the people we’ve met we won’t ever forget.
Summer isn’t far away and we know you’ll be dying to come back!!
