Join us for Art Fix, a relaxed and welcoming morning of art conversation led by Elizabeth Gould. We’ll begin with a meet and greet in the gallery foyer at 10am before heading into the exhibition spaces for an in-depth discussion.
This month, Elizabeth will be taking you through Fire & Earth: contemporary ceramics from the Top of the South. Afterwards, continue the conversation over coffee or tea in The Suter Café.

Join us for a special talk with celebrated New Zealand painter Karl Maughan, whose newest exhibition, A Clear Day, opens the same morning.
Karl is widely admired for his colourful, detailed garden scenes that seem to hum with life. In this talk, he’ll take us behind the canvases—sharing how he builds his compositions, the role memory and imagination play in his work, and what inspired the paintings in A Clear Day.
This is a chance to hear directly from the artist about his practice and see the exhibition through his eyes.
