Family Fun, Food and a Whole Lot of Flavour: NZ Cider Festival 2025
The New Zealand Cider Festival isn’t just for adults, it’s a full day of fun for the whole family!
Got kids with energy to burn? Let them zoom around the brand new pump track by the windmill. Scooters, skateboards, bikes, or balance bikes are all welcome – helmets on, of course! There’s also a bouncy castle on the grass by the church, so they can bounce, jump, and play to their heart’s content. Plus, don’t miss the free face painting from 1–3 PM — a festival favourite for little ones!
When hunger strikes, make a beeline for the Food Zone. We’ve got something for everyone: Argentinian BBQ, Nepalese street food, loaded fries, bagels, crepes, hot dogs, and more. Vegan, gluten-free, or just a fan of delicious bites? You’re covered.
For the adults, there’s plenty to sip and savour. Try a refreshing cider, a cocktail from The Alchemist, or a glass of wine from Eradus or beer from Good George. Prefer non-alcoholic options? There are plenty of non-alcoholic drink options, barista coffee, and free water to keep everyone refreshed.
Quick tips for families:
Under 18s get in free with a parent or legal guardian.
Kids must be accompanied at all times.
Pump track and bouncy castle areas are alcohol-free.
Remember, the festival is family-friendly, but cider is still the main star!
