We are excited to announce a brand-new Arts Council Nelson event coming to Whakatū in 2026: Make It Nelson!
Make It Nelson is a curated, hands-on programme of workshops and activities designed to inspire creativity, build practical skills, and connect visitors with Nelson’s vibrant local arts community.
Running throughout June 2026, Make It Nelson will bring together a diverse mix of traditional and contemporary forms of making with sessions led by Whakatū-based artists and creatives.
