The pleasure of hosting our annual Rutherford Hotel Nelson Senior Citizens Lunch: Rutherford Hotel Nelson
Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Rutherford Hotel Nelson Senior Citizens Lunch. We were delighted to welcome 12 local rest homes, with a total of 118 guests who enjoyed a three-course lunch as our guests.
Entertainment was provided by the talented Barry Korcheski, who has kindly joined us for the past three years to perform for our residents. We were also proud to showcase our very own reservationist for the second time, Joel Sangster, who performed a selection of classic Christmas hits alongside much-loved favourites that had residents singing along. For the first time, we were thrilled to host the Nelson Youth Choir, who were an absolute hit. The choir opened their performance with a beautiful Te Aroha welcome.
As a hotel, we truly look forward to this event each year. It fills everyone with warmth and joy and is a wonderful way to begin the Christmas season.
