We’re delighted to announce we’ve signed on to remain Naming Rights Partner for NBS Nelson Giants through to the end of the 2027 season 🤝
The NBS Nelson Giants have a proud history in the NZ National Basketball League, celebrating 40 years in the league in 2022. After another solid showing in the 2025 season, the Giants remain one of the league’s most supported teams, consistently drawing sell-out crowds at the Trafalgar Centre.
Howie Timms, General Manager Commercial Banking at NBS, says the renewed partnership reflects NBS’ commitment to the Giants and the wider basketball community.
“It all starts with the positive environment built by General Manager and Head Coach Mike Fitchett and is supported by a dedicated team and quality coaching. The players’ attitudes show that success isn’t just about what happens on the court – it’s also about the impact the team has on the community.”
