Happiest of New Years to you all and a fond farewell from me (Catherine!)
After 12 wonderful years at the gallery it is time for me to move on to my next chapter. It has been a joy and a privilege getting to know you all and I will greatly miss my lovely customers, jewellers, artists, framers, printers, suppliers, tradespeople, couriers, publishers, fellow business owners, musicians, invaluable hardworking helpers, makers and shakers, lovely supportive neighbour Jo next door at Shine @shinedesignstore (and supplier of many of my great gallery dresses over the years!) and of course the wonderful staff who contributed their time, skills and passion over the last 12 years.
Next time you’re in you may see Craig’s fabulous assistant and former gallery manager Amy Russ @amy.russ.images She’ll be looking after the gallery in the interim and of course our lovely Saturday assistant Vicki Olsen will be a familiar face.
Next up in what I am sure will be an exciting year for the gallery is Kay Field and Crispin Field’s Anthropocene exhibition which opens Friday 30th January (all welcome!) @kay.field63
12 years doesn’t feel like long but when I consider my Bella was 3 years old when the gallery opened (2nd photo, in our kid’s corner!) it seems like a very long time indeed (if you know you know).
