Adam Summer School Finale Concerts: NCMA
Experience the rising stars of chamber music at the Adam Summer School Finale Concerts.
Up to 30 talented young violin, viola, cello and piano players spend eight days in Nelson’s summertime working intensively on chamber music, with coaching and masterclasses led by the New Zealand String Quartet and, in 2025, pianist Rae De Lisle.
These two finale concerts are a chance for students to showcase a week’s worth of intensive training within their new ensemble. Over the past 31 years, more than 400 students have attended the Summer School, with many alumni going on to illustrious classical music careers around the world.
