Te Ramaroa exists because of a simple belief: that everyone should be able to experience light, art, and community on a gorgeous Whakatū Nelson winter evening.
To continue this mission, they’re running a RAFFLE. A raffle packed with over $5,000 in prizes gifted by generous local businesses – wow, what a special place we live in 🫶
Tickets are $25 each, and every dollar goes directly into the operating costs of Te Ramaroa. Importantly, ensuring the festival can stay free for everyone!

Te Ramaroa is Nelson’s premier FREE light art festival. Free for everyone to experience. Elder, middle, young. Green, yellow, pink. Mini, mild, mega. Families, singles, thruples, quadrangles – absoluuutely all.
But free doesn’t fund itself. Every raffle ticket you buy goes toward keeping this festival alive. The DNA of this movement is volunteer, but unfortunately equipment isn’t.
