Colour and camaraderie in tryathlon

The Nelson leg of the Weet-bix Tryathlon took place at Tāhunanui Beach on Sunday, with more than 1000 young athletes giving it their all and their parental support crew cheering them on. Nelson Mail visual journalist Braden Fastier was there to capture it all.

These young swimmers were all ready to hit the water at the start of the event.
