Aromaflex means, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. This shop was created from humble beginning to share complementary medicine knowledge in 1995.
Our point of difference is that not only is Aromaflex New Zealands only Aromatherapy shop, but we were the first Aromatherapy company to be Biogro certified.
This means a lot of our oils are organic and are sourced both within NZ and around the world. Where possible, we only purchase NZ grown products, such as our hydrosols, which remain fresh and support our NZ farmers.
We have qualified and training Aromatherapists that can give advice on your choice of essential oils and specially made formulations to suit your health needs.
All our blends and synergies have a story and have been formulated over the years, based on individual consultations. Where else could you go into a shop, talk to an Aromatherapist about your problems and get a blend made? only at Aromaflex in Nelson.
Understanding chemotypes of oils and applying them safely has also been considered, hence why when you come into the shop, there are many handouts on products to educate and support the product range.
You can bring in your bottles to be refilled, and again we are the only Aromatherapy shop in the world to do this. Sustainability in supplying the best possible product and keeping the prices affordable has always been the vision.
Also in store are Aromatherapy and Reflexology treatments that are provided in a separate room towards the back of the building. This is by appointment only for women.
