The Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) is Te Tauihu’s leading tertiary provider, delivering quality teaching and learning throughout the region for over 100 years.
Located in the heart of Nelson City, NMIT’s main campus is just a five-minute walk to café’s, craft breweries, sustainable grocers, great shopping and art galleries. The garden like campus is surrounded by parks and close to many walking and biking tracks.
With four campuses across Nelson and Marlborough, NMIT offers over 100 programmes including aquaculture, maritime, hospitality and tourism, viticulture and winemaking.
Many programmes have been developed in consultation with local industry to ensure learners gain the right skills for future employment.
