This is where it all happens!  You can see the coffee being roasted, taste all our favourite coffees and experience different slow brew techniques. Sublime Coffee Roasters was founded in 2005 in the heart of sunny Nelson. Our own love for the Sublime product has ensured growth into a business that now supplies cafes and homes across the country with a team of specialized employees focused on roasting, service and training.
The emphasis at Sublime has always been on quality, to let our product and service do the talking. We love it, so others can too.

From small and humble beginnings…
In 2005 it started with a living room converted to a small business. Dan on his own… barista by day – roaster by night – long days fuelled by espresso. The pressure cooker environment of small business forged an unflinching belief that quality does not need to be compromised. Our love for the Sublime product has brought us to the current position: a growing business with an amazing team of expert operators focussed on roasting, service and training. Our coffee is shipped worldwide.

SUBLIME CUSTOM MACHINERY
No such thing as ‘good enough’, we’ve learnt a lot about roasting and what we need it to be capable of. From, building roasters from scratch through to ‘hot rodding’ our favourite old machines, we know what we have to achieve and that we aren’t willing to live with compromise…. And we love it!.

The sublime team is a collection of happy people, passionate about delivering an unparalleled final product to the customer. We designed and built our own roasting equipment from the ground up because we wanted something original, that would do exactly what we wanted. We are 100% committed to ethical coffee relationships – if it’s good for you, us and the grower – we’re onboard! More about our story.

CAFE SUPPLY & TRAINING
We’re all about mutually beneficial relationships, from the grower to us and from us to you. We provide a tailored package of great product, equipment, training and maintenance. Our techies and trainers will come to you or you can come to our purpose built training room. we provide everything to help you get the best final product in the cup.
