Rhythm and Brown
R&B –The bar for people who love bars Five years. That’s how long we’ve been taking R&B for granted – the best little bar this side of the Great Divide. Established by Scott Bradley in 2013, R&B has been serving up style from day one with beers and beats you’d expect in the coolest little city.
The bar for people who love bars Lots of wood, and a dark ambiance fuelled by premium drinks – this is a big city speak-easy smack in the middle of our small town – a place to enjoy great company with the best local beers and wines. Owned with love.
Great bars don’t just happen – the most talented people have to be involved. Scott, Catherine, Dan and team serve up more than brews – a great conversation is just a glass away, a chance to review the day, catch up on the news, breakdown the bigger picture.
Music that matters Vinyl has been on the comeback for a couple of years now, but Scott’s been a vinyl-head for years and he’s ahead of the game. Authentic blues and soul records play all night long – the best kind of sound track for fun times, memorable times. And what about the bands – original music delivered at the highest level – it’s live, it’s happening and it’s here and now.
Crafty beers on tap In Nelson we’re spoiled for great craft beer. At R&B you’ll find the stars of the local brewing scene – Hop Federation, Townsend, Park Life…and newcomers like Horsebox to keep things interesting.
And the wine – Orinocco Pinot Noir, Moutere Hills – the best of what’s on offer – all made right here in Nelson Tasman. The urban outdoors It’s been a hot summer, and there’s plenty of space out front to enjoy the sun and a great conversation with friends.
Tasty platters are available to help us take time to enjoy these long summer evenings. And when winter comes, well, there’s no better place to be, but we’ll worry about that later.
Rhythm and Brown.
